The Monte de El Pardo is a wooded area situated in the north of Madrid City. It has a National Patrimonio (unfortunately is closed for public visits) and also has a Natural Park Status, with abundant diversity in vegetal and fauna, including protected birds as:
- Imperial Eagle, black stork, black vulture, griffon Vulture, white Stork, bee-eater, golden Oriole, eurasian Roller, orphean Warbler, hoopoe, rock Bunting, great Spotted Cuckoo or blue magpie.
